From David Tames- The 18th Annual Pro Video Show (hosted by the Camera Company with the participation of the Boston Final Cut Pro User Group, SMPTE/NE, and NPVA/NE) will be held Friday and Saturday, March 7-8, 2008 at Stonehill College (Sally Blair Ames Sports Complex) in Easton, Massachusetts. This popular annual event provides two days of informative workshops, seminars, and equipment demonstrations, with lots of opportunities to check out the latest gear and learn about tools and techniques. Yours truly will be presenting three seminars at the show you might find interesting: * Web Video 2.0: Delivering Your Video Online (Fri, Mar 07, 1pm -3pm, $25), * Art of the Interview: Strategies and Techniques for Better Video Interviews (Sat, Mar 08, 9am - 11am, $25), and * Interview Lighting: Professional Results On A Tight Budget (Sat, Mar 08, 1pm - 3pm, $25). From the Boston Public Health Commission - Please join us and the film series producers from the California Newsreel on March 27, 2008 to view the first hour ("In Sickness and In Wealth") of this groundbreaking series together, hear about city and state initiatives to eliminate health disparities and discuss a call to action. The Boston premiere will be held at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Floating Boulder by Adam Frelin is one of the films showing at the <a href="http://www.d2eboston.com/events/event-details.php?id=34">Down:2:Earth film project </a> screening tomorrow. They're giving away some eco-tours, <a href="http://www.myninjaplease.com/green/?p=1373">apparently</a>, winners will go to the Yukon, sleep in a organic cotton tents and using a composting toilet. The screening itself is at the Hynes Convention Center. Sunday March 30, 2008

It's too late to see the screening of all the Chlotrudis shorts from this year (seeing as how there was only one screening at Coolidge and it started two hours ago) but one could go see who won at the 14th Annual Chlotrudis Awards ceremony on Sunday, March 30 at the Brattle. Saturday April 05, 2008
