youtube.com can use your stuff without contributing to the artist. blip.tv seems to have a more respectful model. Read the agreement text.

Also, youtube reduces quality more than expected. >:O

We talked about the Hal Hartley film 'Flirt' where the same dialog is used to play out the same scene in different cities, different styles, etc.:

February 13th BVPDG meeting minutes

Discussion (part #2) of the relative merits of the TOS for Youtube, Google Video and Blip.tv. Consensus is that attention is warranted prior to making major commitments
